Demo data notes.

This overview explains the current playtest, the information it uses, and the limits of its data controls.

This download page

This page has no sign-up, payment form, advertising script or analytics tracker added by Orbit VR. Downloading the APK does not install it. The hosting provider processes ordinary web requests to deliver the site and files.

The game account and local saves

The game uses Firebase Authentication for a persistent guest game account. It stores a guest credential on your device and derives your public Orbit player ID from the account identifier. Your typed name is not a verified identity. Saves, custom colors, creations, friends and mute/block settings are stored on your device. Losing or clearing app data can lose your guest credentials and saves. Account recovery and an in-game account-deletion flow are not implemented.

Rooms and shared creations

Internet rooms use Firebase Realtime Database. Participants receive display names, avatar choices, head/hand positions, gameplay, creations and friend-request data. Current members can read room payloads. Signed-in accounts can look up membership metadata for a known valid room key. Numeric private rooms are room choices, not passwords. Other players can save or record what you share.

Choosing Publish shares a level's title, description, author identifier, estimated difficulty, submitted build and cover image with other signed-in game accounts. Unpublish removes the public listing and stored public build but cannot remove copies already downloaded by others.

Voice is optional

The microphone starts off. Enable it from the tablet only if you want to transmit; Quest also asks for microphone permission. Room voice is sent through Firebase and its latest encoded audio batch is stored in the database. Audio gets quieter with distance, but that does not restrict who receives it. The game has no transcription or voice-history browser.

Leaving, pausing or switching MIC off stops capture. Cleanup is best effort: the latest audio and room buffers can remain after a crash or lost connection until overwritten, reclaimed or deleted by an administrator. There is no scheduled automatic cleanup or guaranteed retention time.

Mute, block and reports

Players on the tablet lets you silence a player or incoming room voice. A block also stops incoming friend requests on your device. It does not hide the other avatar, erase published levels or guarantee that they cannot receive your transmitted audio. Saved protections are local and tied to the current guest account. Guest-account resets can evade account-based restrictions.

Report Voice asks you to confirm a reason. It sends authenticated reporter/target account IDs, the current room and membership context, a server timestamp, game version and reason to a private Firebase inbox. It does not attach a recording, screenshot, transcript or free-text allegation. Other players cannot browse this inbox. Reports require human review and never automatically ban someone. Authorized project operators can review reports and apply guest-account restrictions. No automatic speech moderation, staffed response-time promise or automatic report expiry is provided.

Contact and removal requests

Contact zeus.morpheus.washington@gmail.com for playtest support and data/removal requests. The public publisher name is Untitled.Ducky. Operator verification, deletion, appeal, review and retention procedures remain to be finalized for the playtest. Please do not include passwords or guest refresh credentials in a message.

Public levels, abandoned room buffers, reports and downloaded copies do not currently have a complete automatic deletion process. These limits matter when deciding what to share in an experimental playtest.
